Photovoltaics for the VetFarm
Nikko Engineering supports the University of Veterinary Medicine Vienna in the energy transition.
The University of Veterinary Medicine Vienna operates several agricultural enterprises for teaching and research purposes. Together with Nikko Engineering, steps are being taken here towards ecological electricity generation. In a first step, a photovoltaic system is being installed at the Kremesberg site, which is already under construction. Nikko Engineering has taken over the planning and tendering process. The basis of the planning process was the execution of simulations and the determination of the self-consumption share of the future photovoltaic system.
After completion, Nikko Engineering will take care of the inspection and assessment.
In the next step, concepts for the remaining locations will be developed, and the feasibility of additional photovoltaic systems will be examined.
