Solar Training Tanzania

In Momella, Tanzania, our photovoltaic training is currently taking place for the second time. Here we teach 14 students and impart basic knowledge on the design, installation, and maintenance of photovoltaic systems. This increases the participants' job opportunities and promotes the local expansion of renewable energies.

For the project, we are working with the NGO Africa Amini Alama, whose classrooms and infrastructure are used to conduct the course.

As part of the course, the students are installing an off-grid PV system on the roof of the teachers' accommodation, which is urgently needed as the public grid regularly fails. The students' catering, materials, and tools are financed by our partner company Nikko Photovoltaik and through donations.
